Hi, I’m Veronica!

Thanks so much for considering me as your therapist. I understand how difficult it can be to take that first step and reach out when life feels overwhelming or out of control. It's not easy to be vulnerable, but I believe there's great strength in it—and you don’t have to do it alone. When you're ready, I’m here to listen and support you, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

A little bit about me:

Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a graphic designer and community artist. Through my involvement in healing arts projects, I saw how much art and therapy can transform lives. Whether in hospitals, with trauma survivors, or within the prison system, I’ve witnessed firsthand how these tools can bring real change. I also spent many years as an Academic Success Coach and Mentor, helping young adults navigate life's challenges and mental health struggles.

Driven by a deep passion for helping others, I pursued my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’ve been fortunate to work with people rediscovering their strength, resilience, and self-worth along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, creating art, reading about mythology, and doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

What you can expect from working with me:

I’m here to offer you a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself—no matter what’s on your mind. Whether we’re addressing daily stress, anxiety, or deeper-rooted issues, I will be by your side, bringing authenticity, sincerity, humor, and a genuine desire to help you thrive.

I believe in empowering clients with the tools they need to grow, heal, and build resilience. I may incorporate a mix of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), based on what works best for you. Together, we'll work to identify and shift any negative patterns or limiting beliefs.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. Your story is unique, and so is your path to healing. I am here to support you in reaching your goals, embracing your strengths, and living in a way that feels true to you.

Areas of Clinical Focus

I specialize in supporting people with anxiety, working through trauma, burnout, depression, inner child work, phobias, career counseling, relationship challenges, family conflict, rebuilding sexual intimacy, and self-awareness. I also offer kink-positive therapy and can work with clients through a Christian lens if desired.
